FiCo Restaurant

A phenomenal restaurant in the heart of the island, yet very intimate, as if far from the crowds. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere with jazz music is perfect for an evening of relaxation after a day of sightseeing at a million degrees. The restaurant manager is Italian, energetic in both action and words. It's fantastic. We'll be back tomorrow

That's a picture of the tuna tartare as that's what I was initially after - little did I know I was going to have the best carbonara pasta yet, ever, in parallel. Nice cosy atmosphere, great service & good wine right around the corner from the center of Syracuse. Would surely recommend and come back. Thank you

It was Just the best pizza of my Life. I took the pizza carbonara because of the advice of the owner. It was magnífico. Thank you for the service. they were so kind. We had a very spécial night. My girlfriend took the pizza Diane, it was also very good (the pesto of pistachio smelled really the pistachio) please go to this restaurant

Service charge was added per person without warning and we didn’t have chance to look at the bill prior to being given the card machine to pay. Other than this, we thought the food was very tasty and the restaurant was in a lovely location! We weren’t offered any desserts as other reviews suggested but we were pretty full anyway so this wasn’t an issue.

Our first time in Italy and our first dinner and it was everything that we thought it would be and so much more!!! The food was amazing (they even accomodated some of our American style of cooking meat for my mother), the service was top notch and they were so kind. The atmosphere was everything that you dream of in a Sicilian trip. What a start to our dining experience!! I would highly recommend going.

Best seafood pasta in Ortigia! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After searching for fresh seafood in Ortigia, I found FiCo Restaurant and was blown away. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff immediately put me at ease with their kindness and attentiveness. They recommended a seafood pasta that was absolutely incredible—loaded with shrimp, scallops, and so much flavor. Paired with a Sicilian red wine, it was unforgettable. I left my plate completely clean. Service was attentive from start to finish, the lighting and setting were romantic, and the whole experience felt special. Highly recommend FiCo Restaurant if you’re in Ortigia and want fresh, delicious seafood with outstanding service.

One of the best meals we had on our two week trip to Italy… so good we came back for a second dinner at Fico! A hidden gem. Lovely setting just off the main plaza, nice and peaceful with beautiful lighting and atmosphere. The hosts were really friendly and suggested wine for each of us that paired well with our food choices. They even gave me some mosquito spray if I needed… The food is also outstanding. We highly recommend the pasta dishes, particular the Casarecce alla Norma and the Ravioli Ragu - great portion size too compared to other restaurants. The pistachio cheesecake is also a must try - not your typical cheesecake but we’ll let you try it and not spoil the surprise. Delicious. We can’t wait visit again next time. Thanks for a lovely time!

The food at this place was very good and the portions were well-sized. The ambiance is great. The lighting is dim and comfortable. One is tucked away from the main street. The service was attentive and quick.
